A few useful qualities for people who want
to work in events.
Are there typical events people? And if so, what are their qualities? To answer the first question, we’d say no. To answer the second question, however, we’d say that there are actually a few qualities. And now we’ve already contradicted ourselves…
Whatever. At Inspiration we’re always looking for skilled colleagues. Good colleagues are a particularly good reason for going to work, and they are also the foundation on which our business rests: No inspirational employees, no inspiration.
So when we’re considering potential colleagues, we believe that you’ll have something like the following set of qualities. And a few more besides.
LOVE CHANGES.
Things didn’t used to be better and you’re not interested in repeats.
SEE THE POSSIBILITIES.
The events sector is a problem-solving sector.
HAVE DRIVE.
In a world where the objective is often a long way away, you have to drive for a long time.
ARE CURIOUS.
Ask, develop, question and think innovatively.
ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY.
Personal commitment is necessary to succeed. Responsibility and freedom go together.
HAVE A POSITIVE APPROACH.
Positive people aren’t right more often than negative people are. But they’re much happier.
ENJOY THINKING ACROSS A BROADSPECTRUM.
This involves knowing how to formulate the best message as well as knowing the aviation industry and breakfast habits in Istanbul.
POSSESS A HIGH LEVEL OF INSIGHT.
What does the customer actually want?
IS HUMBLE.
You don’t have to do it all yourself. Ask and learn.
IS CREATIVE.
Enjoys thinking freely and thinking creatively within limits.
TAKE PRIDE IN THE PROFESSION.
You are a happy meeting expert.
